~ Recitals:
Annual Duet Recital is on November 24th.
Annual Solo Recital is TBD.
~ Certificate Day
June 8, 15, 22 and 29
Our monthly performance days provide students with a valuable opportunity to develop their performance skills in a relaxed and supportive environment. These informal events are open to all students at no extra cost. The audience consists solely of fellow students and a few teachers, creating a nonjudgmental space for everyone to perform.
(While lessons are online, performances days are held virtually)
Throughout the school year, we offer a duet recital, a solo recital, and an invitation-only recital. These formal events give students the chance to perform in front of a larger audience and gain experience in a more traditional recital setting. Parents, family members, and friends are encouraged to attend and support the performers.
(While lessons are online, we hold virtual recitals.)
To participate in the formal recital, students must attend one rehearsal. These rehearsals take place at the school, and registration is required.
Our calendar is structured to ensure that we offer a consistent monthly tuition rate. Each student receives sixteen lessons over a four-month period. If a student receives only three lessons in one month, they will receive five lessons in the following month to maintain the total number of lessons.
Our annual exam is held in June. Starting in January, teachers guide students through the preparation process, focusing on the school’s curriculum requirements. The exam serves as a tangible way for students and parents to track progress and allows the school to maintain its high standards by closely monitoring each student’s development.
During the fifteen to twenty-minute exams, students demonstrate their progress in areas such as pieces, theory, ear training, technique, and music literature. Feedback is then provided by the head teacher or one of our senior instructors.
