Golden Key Paino School’s August 2024 Newsletter

Dear Manhattan Piano Academy Community,

We are looking forward to another school year full of music with you.

1. Calendar

Please see our 2024-25 school calendar of events here. Please mark your calendar for rehearsal dates and recitals.

We would love to see you take advantage of our free monthly performance days. Performance days are informal and were designed to prepare the students for formal performances and stage.

2. Referral System

Many thanks for referrals!

We have been registering students who were referred to us by current or former students of Golden Key Piano School. Believe it or not, we have even had referrals from those who are just starting their own lessons at Golden Key Piano School. We are flattered and grateful for the confidence that our students and their families have in our ability to teach.

To return the favor, for each student that is referred, we will:

• Add $50 to our scholarship fund to make our quality lessons available to a wider community.
• Waive the $45 registration fee for your friend as a welcome gift to our school.
• Send you a thank you gift.

3. Monthly Informal Recital

We would like to invite you to our informal Zoom performance days once more so you can practise your skills further in front of an audience and get feedback. The Zoom performance day happens on the second Tuesday of each at 3:00pm EST.

No sign up required.

No teacher invitation/permission is required.

All students are welcome and encouraged to join.

4. Fundraiser Recital for the Elaine Scholarship Fund

Many thanks to all of you who donated to our scholarship fund through the last year and special thanks to Elaine who started this idea.

Your donations can help us provide quality piano lessons to a larger community and include those who need financial aid.

The recital happens on September 26th 2024 at the Kassman Piano Store in Berkeley.

You can start donating via the button below.

Additionally, we invite anyone in the community to donate items (arts/crafts/gift certificates) for an auction that will happen during the recital. All proceeds from the auction will go towards Elaine’s Scholarship Fund.

5. USABRB Best Businesses in America 2024 Award

We are excited to announce that we are a recipient of this years USABRB Best Businesses in America Award. This award is given to businesses that have maintained a 4+ star google review rating or equivalent proof of customer satisfaction. We are grateful to all our students and community to allowing us to serve you and expressing your satisfaction for our services via Google Reviews.
