Congratulations to Christopher, Robin’s student for successfully passing his RCM test for level 7 with first class honors.
Better late than never. We just learned about teacher Christopher’s students who successfully passed the following levels at Royal Conservatory Exam in 2021. Clara passed Level 5, Emmett passed Level 6, and Katelyn passed Level 7. Bravo to all these hard working students.

Here is Emmet and Clara’s performance in our recent duet recital.

5. Teachers’ News
Katrin’s Writing News

I am happy to report that the New York premiere of my play The Portrait of an Angel, a Lion, a Monster had a fantastic opening weekend with a full house.

The Bay Area premiere will be on February 17th, 19th and 20th. Here is some information if you are interested to attend. I will be very happy to see you there.

The show is at Central Stage 5221 Central Ave Richmond California.
Dates: Thursday February 17th 7:00PM
Saturday February 19th 8:00PM
Sunday February 20th 3:00PM

A lyrical, nonlinear, three-act play with absurdist elements, The Portrait of an Angel, a Lion, a Monster comes alive in the hands of director Ali Kamran, making his New York directorial debut with this production at TheaterLab. The play has its Bay Area Premiere at Central Stage in February 2022.
With its strong Jewish backdrop, the play takes the audience through an intimate internal journey that suggests “happy families are NOT all alike.”

Teacher Christopher’s Competition News
Congratulations to Teacher Christopher who was the winner at the Northwest MTNA Competition, and is heading to compete in the National Finals. We love you teacher Christopher!
